Where is Torrontés from?

Torrontés is indigenous to Argentina and rarely found elsewhere. The name Torrontes actually encompasses three different varieties: Torrontés Riojano (the most popular), Torrontés Sanjuanino and Torrontés Mendocino, all of which share similar characteristics, with Riojano being the most aromatic and flavorful.
