ABOUT THIS WINE:
Seven Cities
Sauvignon Blanc
Our 2020 Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from the smaller sub-region of Isla de Maipo and is a true classic. The Valle Central in Chile is one of the highest producing appellations in South America. Stretching nearly 250 miles long throughout the narrow country, fruit planted throughout the varying sub-regions in the area experience multiple different terroirs. Exposed to a cooler climate thanks to the Pacific Ocean, vineyards are subject to grainy soils that hold onto water deep in the ground. This type of environment forces grapes to work harder for nutrients and water but also creates incredibly concentrated flavors. On the sweeter side and featuring bold fruit flavors, this wine is juicy and vibrant. With intense tropical flavors and mouthwatering acidity, every sip lingers on the palate. Easy drinking and fresh, this wine is perfect for pairing with spicy dishes that complement its ac ...

WINE REGION:
Valle Central
The expansive, warm flatlands of Chile's Valle Central are home to most of the country's vineyards. This long stretch of land from Santiago to Itata Valley is divided into four sub-regions, each with its own climate and reputation. There is Maipo Valley with its minty Cabernet Sauvignon, Rapel Valley with its spicy Carménère and the Curicó and Maule Valleys, famous for concentrated Carignan made from old vines. Throughout the valley—which is prized for its rich, volcanic soils—the hot days and cool nights result in ripe, well-balanced grapes. Some of the most common Valle Central wines are fruit-forward reds made from plummy Merlot and pear-flavored whites crafted from Chardonnay.

ABOUT THE BRAND:
Seven Cities
The fall of the Seven Cities marked the end of the conquest in Chile when seven Spanish outposts were destroyed or abandoned in 1600. This was a significant pivot point in the region's history, recorded through indigenous and colonial Spanish art and literature. We acknowledge this complex history and crucial turning point with wines that proudly showcase their uniquely Chilean characteristics and come to life in the glass.
