Ralí
Maule Valley, Chile
Create a cozy moment with warming spice and ripe berry notes
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Ralí
Cabernet Sauvignon
Ralí captures the rustic beauty of Chilean terroir with our Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine offers an oak-driven and spicy expression of this popular grape. Cozy aromas of winter spices lead you to a smooth palate filled with ripe dark fruit flavors. In the vineyards of Chile's Maule Valley, thick-skinned Cabernet Sauvignon enjoys the sun's warm embrace throughout long summer days. Sunlight softens the grape's powerful tannins and develops its ripe fruit flavors, while cool nights preserve natural acidity, resulting in delectable fruit flavors and balanced textures. Before the wine is bottled, oak imparts the captivating spice notes you will experience on the nose and palate. This Cab is the kind of wine that becomes even better when shared. Call friends and family and set the table for an evening brimming with friendly banter, full glasses and new memories. Scroll through the image ...

WINE REGION:
Maule Valley
When it comes to well-balanced reds of great value, Chile's Maule Valley is hard to beat. The southernmost part of Chile's Central Valley, Maule is a large sub-region with many microclimates and soil types. The Maule River and the nearby Pacific Ocean both greatly influence its climate. Maule was one of the first places in Chile planted with grapevines. It is famed today for its 100-year-old Carignan vines and the densely sumptuous wines they produce. More typical, however, are its powerful Cabernet Sauvignon, spicy aromatic Carménère and plush Merlot reds. For whites, check out Maule's cheery Sauvignon Blanc and rounded Chardonnay. Chile’s Denominación de Origen (DO) classification system focuses on separating wines by the physical location of origin. To use the DO classification on a label, a producer must have pulled 85 percent of the fruit used in a wine from a defined regional location. The DO system names wine regions in the country from north to south.
