ABOUT THIS WINE:
King Estate
Pinot Noir
2017 was a classic Oregon vintage. The later season combined with cool harvest weather, interrupted periodically by showers, slowed ripening, allowing for enhanced flavor development and acid retention while keeping potential alcohol levels in check. The resulting wine is expressive while still being subtle and complex. We can't wait for you to try it!
NOTE: This is NOT a Firstleaf Exclusive Wine and is not eligible for discounts, member pricing, or member guarantee. Limited Availability.
Due to state registrations, we cannot ship this wine to AZ, CO, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, MD, ME, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, SD, TX, VT, WA.ABOUT THIS WINE

Willamette Valley
The Willamette Valley is understandably most often associated with Pinot Noir. The cool-climate region has a unique relationship to this most delicate (and temperamental!) red wine grape. Lying on the same latitude as Burgundy in France, the Willamette Valley enjoys the perfect balance of sunshine and rain, proximity to the Pacific Ocean and protection on either side by the Coast Range and the Cascade Mountains. Along its 100 miles, the Willamette Valley boasts many distinct terroirs, so among its many brightly fruity, elegantly structured and blissfully fragrant Pinots, you'll also find exceptional Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Riesling.

ABOUT THE BRAND:
King Estate
In 1990, Ed King discovered a parcel of land with rich soil for growing hay to feed local horse and cattle farms. By 1994, more than 100-acres were planted to create the most clonally diverse soil and climate-matched vineyard ever grown in Oregon. Their organic winemaking process further enhances the true identity of King Estate wines. King Estate is more than a winery; the Estate is treated as an organic eco-system. It features a thriving raptor program, orchards, lush vegetable and fruit gardens, a gourmet restaurant, and our state-of-the-art winemaking facility.
