Joel Gott
California
A crisp montage of California Sauvignon Blanc
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Joel Gott
Sauvignon Blanc
Sometimes a winery will source from the broad-sweeping "California" appellation in order to focus on a simple and simply drinking blend or varietal wine. Others, such as Joel Gott Wines, will source throughout the Golden State to bring unique aspects from each region, sub-region, appellation, or even vineyard together to create a beautifully balanced, New World wine. This vintage is no exception as it showcases concentrated, fully developed fruit along with a bright and crisp natural acidity.
NOTE: This is NOT a Firstleaf Exclusive wine and is not eligible for discounts, member pricing, or member guarantee. Limited Availability.
Due to state registrations, we cannot ship this wine to AL, AZ, CO, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MO, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SD, TX, VT, WA.ABOUT THIS WINE

California
California is one of the most diverse winegrowing regions in the world. Spanning 850 miles along North America's west coast—and inland across mountains and valleys—California's American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) cover a dizzying array of terroir. The cold, deep waters of the Pacific Ocean play a major role in cooling California's vineyards, sending fog and chilly air up to 100 miles inland. This tempers the daytime heat and allows grapes to ripen slowly but fully. Cooler-climate grape varieties thrive closest to the sea, while further inland, bigger, bolder wines prevail.
