Chablis
FROM THE WINEMAKER: The versatile, affordable, village Chablis is a Moreau classic! The winemaking techniques strive to honor the high quality of the terroir, vines and grapes, bringing out the very best in every harvest. All harvesting is done exclusively by hand from the Petit Chablis up to the Grands Crus.

Burgundy
Burgundy is the spiritual home of many of today's favorite winemaking styles. Steeped in history and prestige, it is the source of some of the most expensive wines in the world. A sprawling collection of tiny winemaking provinces (made up of over 100 different appellations), Burgundy is where the world's premier Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines originated. Regions and subregions like Pouilly-Fuissé, Vosne-Romanée, Chassagne-Montrachet exude grandeur and opulence. While Burgundy is centered around a hallowed limestone escarpment known as the Côte d'Or, it actually stretches 200 miles, from Chablis just southeast of Paris, down to the Beaujolais plains above Lyon.

ABOUT THE BRAND:
Christian Moreau
What started as a wine-merchant trading firm in 1814 grew into an internationally acclaimed vineyard and winery. For all its focus on exceptional wine, Domaine Moreau has a bit of a checkered path. Partial stocks in the company sold in the mid-1970s and then all shares to Boisset in Nuits-Saint-Georges a decade later. While the Moreau family was no longer a part of the wine produced, they retained ownership of their vineyards and regained their rights to produce wine from their own vineyards, under their own name again. This tenacity is now rewarded with an exceptional range from Petit Chablis to Grand Crus.
