Our 2019 Castello di Izola Sangiovese is a classic representation of Italy's most widely planted grape. Hailing from Tuscany's neighbor, Rubicone, this wine showcases a structured balance between red fruit and savory spice. Much like their ancestors, our winemaking partners tend to these vineyards primarily by hand. Harvest is also done gently by hand to preserve the grape's skin and, by doing so, maintain freshness and nuanced aromas. Each detail matters, and every decision is guided by history.
