Taste the pride of Argentina in the 94 point, Platinum medal-winning Andás Malbec
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Andás
Malbec
Voted the "Best Malbec" and awarded 94 points and a Platinum medal at the 2019 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge, we are loving the Andás Malbec. When it comes to grapes being associated with specific regions, there are a few standouts: Napa Cabernet, German Riesling, Syrah in the Rhone, and Merlot in Bordeaux. But if there’s one grape and region that continues to prove why it should be added to the pantheon of great wines, it’s Malbec grown in the vineyards of Argentina. The Andás Malbec deserves to be tasted with some of the great, young wines of the world. With a deep color, rich flavors, and balanced acidity it’s more delightful with every sip. The dark fruit flavors, earthy secondary notes, and firm structure leave it begging to be paired with food. We think this wine is especially nice with lean red meats.

WINE REGION:
Argentina
Winemaking in Argentina is all about altitude. Many of its most prominent vineyards are situated at elevations exceeding 2,000 feet, where the cool nights help grapes retain zingy acidity while reaching full juicy ripeness. Probably best known for its flagship red grape Malbec, Argentina has become a South American enological powerhouse. The rich dark fruit flavor and smooth chocolate finish have made Malbec a global favorite. Along with its bold reds, Argentina is also known for aromatic white wines such as the peachy, floral Torrontés. International favorites like Chardonnay, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon also grow well in Argentina's high, dry soil.

ABOUT THE BRAND:
Andás
The name Andás has a few associations with place and culture in Argentina. What place? The Andes Mountains, whose striking peaks dominate Argentina's landscape, hoisting vineyards up towards the sun. The culture? A phrase, "que andás," which loosely translates to "how's it going," "let's go," or simply a greeting between peers. Each of these high-altitude wines speaks to its roots, a place you can't help but remember and a feeling you'll never forget.
