ABOUT THIS WINE:

25 Degrees

25 Degrees

White Blend

We are delighted to unveil the new vintage of our "Best of Class" White Blend from 25 Degrees. This Sauvignon Blanc led blend is citrusy and light with peppy acidity that will leave you feeling refreshed. A tasty creation like this is easy to find in Chile, especially in the Maule Valley. This sub-region of the well-known Central Valley is home to well-drained, fertile land composed of numerous unique soil types. It is known for having cooler temperatures than the surrounding areas, allowing Sauvignon Blanc and other white grapes to ripen beautifully without losing their refreshing acidity and delicate aromas. This results in a fruit-forward, balanced white wine that invites you to experience the delicious effects of Chile's winegrowing climate with each sip. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.

WINE REGION:

Outline of Maule Valley

Maule Valley

When it comes to well-balanced reds of great value, Chile's Maule Valley is hard to beat. The southernmost part of Chile's Central Valley, Maule is a large sub-region with many microclimates and soil types. The Maule River and the nearby Pacific Ocean both greatly influence its climate. Maule was one of the first places in Chile planted with grapevines. It is famed today for its 100-year-old Carignan vines and the densely sumptuous wines they produce. More typical, however, are its powerful Cabernet Sauvignon, spicy aromatic Carménère and plush Merlot reds. For whites, check out Maule's cheery Sauvignon Blanc and rounded Chardonnay. Chile’s Denominación de Origen (DO) classification system focuses on separating wines by the physical location of origin. To use the DO classification on a label, a producer must have pulled 85 percent of the fruit used in a wine from a defined regional location. The DO system names wine regions in the country from north to south.

ABOUT THE BRAND:

large bunches of red grapes on the vine

25 Degrees

While most of the world's winemaking regions fall between 30 to 50 degrees latitude, Chile has a unique advantage that allows it to be an exception to this rule. The northern tip of this slender country sits at the 25th parallel, where growing conditions would usually be too hot. However, altitudes in Chile's dramatic landscape range from sea level to the 22,608-foot summit of Ojos Del Salado, the world's highest active volcano. These heights keep vineyards cool while allowing them to benefit from the bright Chilean sun. 25 Degrees takes pride in being the anomaly with intensely flavorful wines that are as captivating and unique as the land they hail from.
